Spandel Theresa

Working at Climate & Company, Theresa Spandel contributes to diverse projects particularly through her in-depth understanding about corporate sustainability disclosures and their respective regulatory and standard-setting landscape. Prior to her role as a Senior Analyst , Theresa worked as a Senior External Advisor for Climate & Cmpany and as a research assistant at the University of Hamburg while completing her PhD. During her doctoral studies, she conducted empirical research on the financial and non-financial consequences of sustainability reporting regulations, standards and frameworks, and critically assessed the issue of materiality in these contexts. She has previously also worked as an audit consultant for PwC, completed her MSc in Accounting, Organizations and Society at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and received her BSc in International Business with an Accounting Major and exchange semester at the City University of Hong Kong from Maastricht University.
