Presentation of the conference
The “Sustainable Investor Summit” is an industry event in the German-speaking DACH region on the topic of sustainability and impact investing. The conference, which is already in its fourth year, has become a must for professional and institutional investors from the insurance and utilities sector, church sponsors, family offices, foundations, asset managers, decision makers from companies and many others in this segment. Intensive knowledge transfer, exchange of information and experience as well as networking beyond the conference are clear goals for all participants. The conference is certified as climate neutral. All charges for travel etc. will be fully offset by the support of environmental and climate projects.
Sustainability is the most important trend for investors. They are looking for ways to invest in a socially responsible way (SRI) or to assume social responsibility as a company (CSR). In terms of content, sustainability and impact and the related environmental, social and governance (ESG) aspects and their “impact” are the recurring themes on the corporate and investor side.
The importance of Sustainability & Impact Investing is growing rapidly and continues to gain momentum. Corporations have changed their behavior over the past decades. Institutional and private investors are increasingly aligning their portfolios with climate and environmental considerations. The 4th Sustainable Investor Conference in Frankfurt provided an excellent opportunity to discuss ESG with leading investors across different sectors. My learning: It is key to find agreed and verifiable ways to measure real impact in order to create value for investors, customers, society. Congratulations to Mario Weiss and ICF Institutional Capital Forum for the superb organization.
It was great to get together again after the long Corona break. I found the event to be extremely diverse, and the speakers were excellent. There was also enough time for personal discussions. All in all, a successful event.
The Sustainable Investor Summit in Vienna was a firework of perfect organization, inspiring discussions from engaged and smart guests and after the many "online months" a great opportunity for personal exchange.
The 4th Sustainable Investor Summit 2021 was a very successful event.
Many interesting presentations and discussion panels on sustainability made the day very valuable for me.

An exciting cross-section of the world of sustainable investment, with a successful mix of mandatory and optional topics.
The timing for the two conferences in Frankfurt and Vienna in 2021 was ideal. Both events were well attended and had a top line-up. There were practice-relevant updates on Green Finance and also exciting presentations on the Blue Economy and numerous other topics. The discussion panels were extremely valuable from my perspective.
The IC Institutional Capital Forum understood how to combine the right topics with the different perspectives in fall 2021. Entertaining panels, exciting presentations and a wonderful ambience were the perfect basis for sustainability discussions and implementation ideas.
The international top-class event offered an ideal stage for numerous investors and financial experts from the DACH region. After the Corona Lockdowns, this industry event on the topic of sustainability and impact investment was the ideal opportunity to exchange ideas with professional and institutional investors, to attend exciting presentations and discussions, and to make new contacts.
This years SIS was an excellent opportunity to hear from and meet high profile experts within the sustainability and impact area in order to move the important targets for our industry towards #netzero and discuss impact measurement, investment solutions and regulatory challenges. Both events in Frankfurt and Vienna were a fantastic chance, to meet likeminded investors and peers, to deepen existing relationships and to initiate new ones.
With ICF into the new reality: The conferences in Frankfurt and Vienna have shown that we can successfully use the hybrid formats for thematic linking even after Corona and thus address the most important topic of our time, sustainability, in an internationally networked way.
An interesting and forward-looking program, great speakers and a pleasant ambience - the perfect basis for an exciting exchange on the topic of sustainability and investment.
