Steffen Fuchs

Steffen Fuchs
Sustainability Officer
VPV Versicherungen

After a classical banking apprenticeship with Dresdner Bank in 1993 and a subsequent specialization in securities investments, I was a securities advisor for wealthy private clients. This was followed by a move to the corporate customer business with the task of assisting advising larger medium-sized companies on securities investments, foreign exchange and interest rate and interest rate hedging and optimization.

After 12 years, HSBC brought me in. Here I successfully built up the new place for interest rate and foreign exchange at the Stuttgart location for corporate clients and made it profitable. this profitable.

The move to HSBC’s German headquarters in Düsseldorf was inevitable. There as COO in the Corporate Clients – Global Markets division, I improved the operational interfaces, restructured the adherence to and monitoring of compliance and regulatory and regulatory requirements as well as parts of the reporting and successfully supported the strategic realignment of the division.
