Christin has a long-standing track-record and experience in the traditional financial sector and in impact investing; She completed her Doctoral Thesis at Harvard Law School (summa cum laude), her Master Studies at Duke Law School and studied Law and Business Administration before at the Johannes Kepler University in Austria; Christin is a regular author, key-note speaker, juror and long-time university lecturer in impact investing. Privately, Christin is the co- founder of award winning NGO Braveaurora, active in North Ghana since 2009.

Susanne Bregy
Head of Impact Investing

Having worked for many years for traditional private equity and hedge funds in Munich and London, Susanne Bregy set up Rhodanus Capital in 2012 to focus on sustainable and impact investing. She worked with impact PE/VC funds and with traditional and impact investors in order bring impact investing into the mainstream.

 In 2021, she took over the position of Head of Impact Investing at PHINEO gAG. With regard to impact investing, PHINEO specializes in impact investing measurement for investors and asset manager and in impact investing advisory.

Susanne Bregy grew up in Switzerland, studied Philosophy and Business Administration in Munich, worked and lived in London and New York and is currently based in Frankfurt.

Julia Bewerunge
Team Lead Financial Services

Julia Bewerunge is Manager Carbon & Finance at ClimatePartner in Munich where she establishes new approaches to sustainable financial products. She is an experienced sustainable investment project lead with a focus on climate, diversity and inclusion. Julia Bewerunge joint from ISS ESG where she led five markets as ESG Specialist, Associate Vice President. Within that role, she led the ISS research on the EU Taxonomy for the German Ministry of Environment, which was conducted in partnership with adelphi. Prior to working at ClimatePartner and ISS, Julia Bewerunge started her career as a journalist and researcher and continued as a consultant and member of the executive office at KPMG Germany, where she specialized in ESG, impact investments and diversity in Asset Management.

Anke Dembowski

Anke Dembowski is co-founder and managing director of Fondsfrauen GmbH, a network for women in the fund industry, which addresses gender issues in the asset management industry. In addition, she has 13 years experience as an editor for „Institutional Money“ and „Fund Professional“, and works as a writer and lecturer. She began her career in 1990, opening the first investment-fund-shop in Germany before working as a Distribution Manager for an asset manager and Independent Consultant for Investment Companies. She has worked for Lombard International S.A. in Luxembourg where she was a Marketing Manager for Germany and Austria. Anke is a published author.

Marisa Drew

Marisa Drew is responsible for setting the sustainable strategy and ambition for the bank and for creating and facilitating sustainable investments on behalf of Credit Suisse’s wealth management, institutional and corporate clients.

Marisa has been with Credit Suisse for 18 years and in the investment banking industry for over 30 years. Prior to this, she was the Co-Head of the Investment Banking and Capital Markets Division, EMEA. 

Marisa serves on the advisory boards of numerous leadership, sustainability and civil society organizations, including the Aspen Institute UK, Milken Institute Center for Strategic Philanthropy, the FCA’s Markets Practitioner’s Panel and co-chair of the HLG for Humanitarian Aid and the Oceans Panel. 

Her external activities also include serving on EMEA Advisory Boards of The Wharton School and charity Room-to-Read.

Angelika Delen

Angelika Delen is responsible for investment consulting, sustainability & impact solutions for Mercer in Austria.  In this role, she works with institutional clients, participates in regular panel/roundtable discussions and is also part of various working groups on Green finance & Impact (international and national).

She is also hosting the working Group for Global Compact Network Austria for sustainable finance, and launching the Impact Award with Institutional Money. She is also a committee member of Austrian Standards “TC 22/sustainable finance” and CEN/ISO.

Angelika Delen has 14 years of asset management experience and joined Mercer in September 2018. Ms. Delen holds a Master’s degree in International Business Administration from the University of Vienna.

Jessica Espinoza

Jessica Espinoza is Vice President Investments, Private Equity & Venture Capital at DEG (KfW Group) and the Chair of the 2X Challenge, a global initiative that has mobilized over $5 billion of gender lens investments since its launch at the G7 Summit in 2018. Jessica is a PhD candidate at University of Siegen, researching the transformative potential of gender lens investing. She has extensive experience sourcing, structuring and executing debt, mezzanine and equity deals in emerging markets. She serves on the board of Mega, a Mexican financial institution with an ambitious gender lens strategy. As a mentor for Endeavor, she supports high impact companies as they scale up. Prior to joining DEG, Jessica was a Member of the Management Board at ProCredit Bank Nicaragua and managed the Africa Regional Office of MicroFinance Transparency.

Enrique Alvarado Hablutzel

An enthusiast of Technology, Innovation, and Leadership Enrique is an Impact investor, focusing on developing social and environmental businesses in Europe and Latin America. 

He is currently a Partner at Bamboo Capital Partners and sits on the board of 5 impact start-ups in Europe and has multiple investments in the field of Real State for Impact, cero waste, and circular economy businesses. With more than 15 years of experience in developing start-ups in technology and social and environmental impact, he is also part of the Impact Hub network in Switzerland and supported the early development of the Accelerate2030 program supporting more than 100 companies worldwide. He also worked on the early development of Seedstars – a Swiss-based group with the mission to impact people’s lives in emerging markets through technology and entrepreneurship and was part of the Investment team at Virgin Group. 

Every year he is invited as a speaker or guest expert  to develop impact investing courses at the IMD in Lausanne, the Graduate Institute, and the University of Zurich. He has presented a TedX on Democratizing impact investing using technology and is collaborating with different groups in Switzerland to move the needle in business-oriented to impact. Enrique holds a double Master’s Degree in Strategy and technology from the University of Lausanne and the EPFL.

Janine Hofer-Wittwer, CFA

Before joining SIX, Janine Hofer-Wittwer worked at UBS in Private Banking and at the Investment Bank both in Switzerland and abroad. After UBS she joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch in London where she was a Risk Manager for several years. Janine Hofer-Wittwer has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Berne and is a CFA charter holder.

Steffen Klawitter

Steffen Klawitter is the Head of Investor Relations at Finance in Motion, a leading global impact asset manager with EUR 2.3 billion in assets under advisory/management and offices in 17 countries. At Finance in Motion, he is responsible for fostering relationships with existing and prospective private sector investors. 

His career began in 1993 at Deutsche Bank, where he held several positions in the Private and Corporate Wealth Management Divisions. Before joining Finance in Motion in 2015, he managed Deutsche Bank’s Competence Center for Church Investors. In addition, since 2005 he served as the Wealth Management Division’s expert for Sustainable and Impact Investing. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University, Mannheim, Germany, and is a Certified Wealth Advisor through studies at the European Business School (EBS). In 2013 he built one of the first German Energy-Plus Houses (which produces more energy than it consumes) as part of a two-year governmental research project. 

Andreas Knörzer

Andreas Knörzer is Vice-Chairman at Vontobel Asset Management, member of the ESG Investment Governance Committee and Senior ESG Expert and Project Manager. Previously, he was Co-Head of Sustainable & Thematic and Head of Sustainable Investing Boutique and was with Vescore AG (founded in July 2015 within Raiffeisen Switzerland) Business Unit Head Asset Management and Deputy CEO. From 2013 to 2015, he was Head of Asset Management and a member of the Executive Board at Notenstein Privatbank AG, which also belongs to Raiffeisen. 

At Bank J. Safra Sarasin in Basel, he held various positions in financial analysis and asset management from 1989 to 2013, most recently as Head of Asset Management. During this time, as a pioneer in sustainable asset management, he established the sustainable product range and played a key role in positioning the bank as a market leader in this area.

Andreas Knörzer holds a federal diploma in business administration and a federal diploma in banking. His education was followed by several further training courses (Executive Program, Swiss Finance Institute, Senior Executive Program, Columbia University New York). 

He is a member of the strategy committee of EnergieSchweiz, a program of the Swiss Federal Office of Energy, co-leader of the working group Wealth & Asset Management at the industry association Swiss Sustainable Finance and serves as a sustainability expert in various working groups of other associations and authorities. In addition, he is Chairman of the Board of Sustainable Real Estate AG, Zurich and is politically active at local and cantonal level.

 Johanna Köb

Johanna Köb is Head of Responsible Investment at Zurich Insurance Group. In this role, she oversees the implementation of Zurich’s responsible investment strategy for the Group’s approximately USD 200 billion portfolio of group assets. Ms. Köb joined Zurich in 2013 as Responsible Investment Analyst, following the adaptation of the 2012 responsible investment strategy. Johanna is a member of Zurich Group’s Sustainability Leaders Council and serves in multiple advisory boards and working groups of responsible investment industry initiatives, with a focus on impact investment and climate change.

Prior to joining Zurich, Johanna worked for RobecoSAM, where she was part of the Sustainability Operations team. In this role, she supported companies throughout the annual corporate sustainability assessment, and served as an analyst for the financial services and support services sectors for the Dow Jones Sustainability Index.

Johanna holds a master’s degree in international affairs and governance from the University of St. Gallen, as well as a master’s degree in law and diplomacy from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University.

With her focus on sustainable investments, impact investing and climate action she’s a frequent public speaker and also represented in various industry associations on these topics.

Katja Lammert

Katja Lammert is Chief Administration Officer at MEAG. She is responsible for Legal, Regulatory & Compliance, Operations and Digital Business Services. A fully qualified lawyer, Katja Lammert previously worked as a self-employed lawyer. From 2001 to 2019, she was employed at BayernInvest Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft mbH in Munich, where she was responsible as a member of the management board and head syndicate from 2014. Prior to that, she worked as a lawyer at State Street GmbH in Munich from 2000 to 2001.

Roger Naylor

Roger has over 17-years’ experience in global forestry investment and asset management on behalf of institutional investors. Previously he was Chief Operating Officer at the UK’s largest forestry investment manager, and Director of Investment Forestry at a leading international forestry investment adviser. 

Having spent his career searching the world for the best forest funds and managers, Roger is now Portfolio Manager of Evli’s new Impact Forest Fund, a fund of funds investing in forestry strategies with a positive carbon impact alongside a financial return. Investment regions include the US, South America and Oceania. 

Roger has a master’s degree focused in Forest Economics from the University of Helsinki (2002).

Dr. Agnes Neher

I am Head of Responsible Investment at Baloise Group. In my role, I am in charge of the Responsible Investing strategy. Previously, I was an ESG Analyst and Corporate Sustainability Manager at the private bank J. Safra Sarasin. I completed my PhD with the title „ESG Risks and Responsible Investment in Financial Markets“ at the German University of Hohenheim. During my PhD, I was a visiting scholar at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. I received my Diploma in Economics from the German University of Tübingen. In addition, I earned an MSc in Philosophy of Social Sciences at the London School of Economics and Political Sciences.

I am a guest lecturer at the Duale Hochschule in Karlsruhe, where I teach „Sustainable Finance“.

 Dr. Andreas Nilsson

Dr. Andreas Nilsson is Managing Director and Head of Impact at Golding Capital Partners and responsible for impact investments. He joined the Golding team in May 2021. Prior joining Golding, Mr Nilsson was Managing Partner of Sonanz, an Impact-focused fund-of-funds which he founded in 2015. Before that, he worked as a private equity investor at EQT and UBS. Mr Nilsson holds a PhD in Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics and spent two years as a Visiting Fellow at Harvard Business School. The topic of his doctoral dissertation was “The Financing of Nonprofits and Social Enterprises”. Mr Nilsson earned his MSc from the Stockholm School of Economics.

Fabio Sofia

I have dedicated most of my career to a finance, which intends to contribute to positive impact. I co-created Symbiotics in 2005, which has become a world-leader in microfinance investments in emerging markets, going on to join WeCan Group, a fintech specializing in digital financing solutions and blockchain. I then joined Asteria Investment Managers, an asset manager aimed at providing impact investing solutions across all asset classes. 

I am now heading to a new company advising and managing impact investments with a focus on sustainable food systems for 3 reasons; a transition to healthy and sustainable diets is urgently needed, farming must become regenerative, and lastly we need to reduce the ecological footprint of agriculture and fisheries, and boost nature’s ecosystems’ services that are essential to continue to produce our food.

In parallel, I am also President of Sustainable Finance Geneva, an association promoting sustainable finance. I have there co-designed and promoted the Building Bridges brand, which aims at promoting the Geneva and Swiss ecosystem, and building bridges between experts to accelerate the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 agenda. 

I hold a master’s degree in international relations from the Graduate Institute for International Studies (IHEID) and a certificate of quantitative portfolio management from University of Geneva. I am also lecturer at IHEID for the SDG finance course.

Her early career includes Sales, Marketing & Events roles in the Financial Services industry. Francesca Studied International Labour Law at Università degli study di Milano (Italy) and is a certified business coach. Outside of her role within the Adecco Group, Francesca is a Member of the Board of Directors of Blend Plants, the worldwide market leader in technologies for the production of concrete.

Monika Waber

Monika Waber joined Swiss Re Ltd. from UBS AG per August 2011 as Head Human Resources Reinsurance. In this role she partnered with the CEO and Executive Team and was responsible for the end-to-end delivery of strategic human resources to Reinsurance, the largest business unit within Swiss Re. 

In January 2017 she took over as the Head of Organisation & People Development. Together with her team she is globally responsible for organization development, executive and leadership development, performance development, learning, strategic resourcing and talent as well as diversity & inclusion for the entire Swiss Re group. Ms Waber is a Human Resources professional with more than 20 years of experience across all HR disciplines in Financial Services. 

Monika Waber has spent the early part of her career in the Investment Bank unit of UBS AG, followed by various roles within the corporate and group environment. 

During her career she has worked in a number of HR specialist areas such as International Benefits & Compensation, International Mobility and Recruitment.

Additionally, she has held Human Resources Business Partner Roles in various areas in global capacity. Through her roles she has gained specific experience in organisational and cultural change management, performance management, leadership development and executive coaching.

Ms Waber was born in 1973 and is a Swiss and German dual citizen. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master of Advanced Studies in Human Systems Engineering, with specialization on Coaching, Leadership and Organisational Development.

Er setzt sich engagiert für die Integration von ESG in Asset Management Prozesse ein, um Unternehmensveränderungen und bessere Investitionen zu erreichen. Bei swissQuant ist er derzeit für verschiedene ESG-Entwicklungen und -Themen verantwortlich, darunter Strategien, Analysen und Reporting, um die Ausrichtung und Verankerung von ESG in den Lösungen von swissQuant für das Private Banking und Wealth Management Segment voranzutreiben. Vor seiner Tätigkeit bei swissQuant war Patrick als Senior Sustainability Specialist bei Swiss Life im Bereich Reporting und Kommunikation auf Gruppenebene tätig. Davor war er als Managing Director bei Sustainalytics für die Geschäftsentwicklung in den deutschsprachigen Märkten verantwortlich, mit Fokus auf Engagement Dialog Strategien. Patrick hat einen Master-Abschluss in Umweltingenieurwesen von der ETH Zürich.
