Dr. Ingo Dahm
Founder and Managing Director
capacura
Dr. Ingo Dahm is a German engineer and digital pioneer of the first hour. He is considered the inventor of the mobile phone ticket and is a multiple award-winning founder, machine learning expert and world champion in robot football.
After a career focused on education and innovation in various Fortune500 companies, he founded Europe’s most innovative impact investor – capacura GmbH – with his business partners in 2018. The company focuses on early-stage, well-scaling, mostly tech startups in the health, education and environment sectors. Artificial intelligence methods and algorithms are used to identify the most promising impact companies and to fundamentally reduce the relatively expensive selection costs in the early phase.
At the same time, capacura Startup Investment is building companies as a franchise system and democratising the investment process. This makes impact investment accessible to many people and closes the structural financing gap – the „Valley of Death“ between business angels and the larger impact investment funds.
