Having worked for many years for traditional private equity and hedge funds in Munich and London, Susanne Bregy set up Rhodanus Capital in 2012 to focus on sustainable and impact investing. She worked with impact PE/VC funds and with traditional and impact investors in order bring impact investing into the mainstream.

 In 2021, she took over the position of Head of Impact Investing at PHINEO gAG. With regard to impact investing, PHINEO specializes in impact investing measurement for investors and asset manager and in impact investing advisory.

Susanne Bregy grew up in Switzerland, studied Philosophy and Business Administration in Munich, worked and lived in London and New York and is currently based in Frankfurt.

Angelika Delen is responsible for investment consulting, sustainability & impact solutions for Mercer in Austria.  In this role, she works with institutional clients, participates in regular panel/roundtable discussions and is also part of various working groups on Green finance & Impact (international and national).

She is also hosting the working Group for Global Compact Network Austria for sustainable finance, and launching the Impact Award with Institutional Money. She is also a committee member of Austrian Standards “TC 22/sustainable finance” and CEN/ISO.

Angelika Delen has 14 years of asset management experience and joined Mercer in September 2018. Ms. Delen holds a Master’s degree in International Business Administration from the University of Vienna.

Hans-Peter Dohr

Hans-Peter Dohr is founder and Managing Director of ICA Institutional Capital Associates GmbH. Mr. Dohr focuses on the investment advisory segment of our business. He has over 30 years of investment and finance experience, including board and investment committee positions at state investment holding companies and infrastructure and private equity investment funds. Prior to founding ICA, he served as head of advisory at DC Placement Advisors, one of the leading European private markets advisory firms. Earlier in his career, he worked for multiple groups within investment banking at Fox-Pitt, Kelton, Salomon Brothers, Credit Lyonnais and Chase Manhattan Bank as well as the Ministry of Finance and the State Development Bank in Austria. Hans-Peter Dohr holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Vienna University of Economics and Business.

Dina Lorentz

After many years in investment banking and corporate finance with a focus on company and financial institutions’ valuation as well as risk analysis, Dina Lorentz has become a specialist for Sustainable/ ESG Finance and Impact Investing. She started her professional path in sustainable finance in Lima, Peru where she worked for a major European Impact Investment Fund. Her current position with Dentons Europe LLP, the worldwide largest law firm, primarily focuses on ESG & Sustainable Finance.

Next to her role at Dentons she acts as a Management Board Member at the Federal Initiative Impact Investing Germany (Bundesinitiative Impact Investing) as well as for Oikocredit North Germany (OI International is a worldwide cooperative and social investor, providing funding to the microfinance sector, fair trade organizations, cooperatives and small to medium enterprises).

Furthermore, Dina is a part-time lecturer and Co-Author at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, specifically as regards the FS-UNEP Centre´s e-Campus course “Certified Expert in Sustainable Finance (CESFi)” as well as the “Certified Expert in ESG & Impact Investing (CEII)”. She is also a Co-Author of “Managing the Impact of Sustainable Finance – a Manuscript for banks and other financial institutions”.

Since 2019, Volker Weber has been a member of the board of NIXDORF Kapital AG as Chief Sustainability Officer. Activities as managing director and board member at various financial service providers and investment companies. Voluntary work as chairman of the board of the FNG – Forum Sustainable Money Investments e. V.. Volker Weber is responsible for the sustainability strategy in the company and the products. He has a degree in business administration and is the author of numerous studies and specialist publications in the field of sustainable investments.

The Advisory Board is an esteemed group of industry thought leaders assembled by ICF to shape the conference programmes of the SIS 5 forums by collaboratively identifying topics and speakers that will facilitate engaging and informative discussions.

Dr. Ingo Dahm

Dr. Ingo Dahm is a German engineer and digital pioneer of the first hour. He is considered the inventor of the mobile phone ticket and is a multiple award-winning founder, machine learning expert and world champion in robot football.

After a career focused on education and innovation in various Fortune500 companies, he founded Europe’s most innovative impact investor – capacura GmbH – with his business partners in 2018. The company focuses on early-stage, well-scaling, mostly tech startups in the health, education and environment sectors. Artificial intelligence methods and algorithms are used to identify the most promising impact companies and to fundamentally reduce the relatively expensive selection costs in the early phase.

At the same time, capacura Startup Investment is building companies as a franchise system and democratising the investment process. This makes impact investment accessible to many people and closes the structural financing gap – the „Valley of Death“ between business angels and the larger impact investment funds.

Dr. Sascha Lafeld has been active in climate action and green energy for almost 20 years. In the early 2000s, he founded First Climate, a service provider in the field of emissions trading and carbon offset projects. In addition to supporting national and international companies in their climate action measures, he has been instrumental in setting quality standards for the voluntary carbon offsetting market. He joined ClimatePartner in the summer of 2020 as Head of Carbon Offsetting and Green Energy Services. His focus here is on the areas of green energy procurement for corporate clients, green products for utilities and the further development of carbon offsetting projects.
 
ClimatePartner is a pioneer in corporate climate action and has been digitizing climate action for 15 years now, with the aim to enable a climate neutral product in every shopping cart. Dr. Martin Vogelsang

Bundesinitiative Impact Investing

Martin is the Coordinator of the Bundesinitiative Impact Investing e.V. (Federal Initiative Impact Investing), the German platform for impact investing. The overall goal is to help to develop the German impact Investing market and thus open the impact investing space for the public.
 
Based on this approach, additional capital can be unlocked to overcome social and ecological challenges for the purpose of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. In order to achieve this, the Bundesinitiative is raising the awareness of the societal impact investment capital can have. Before that he was the DACH Country Representative of the European Venture Philanthropy Association (EVPA). Martin also spent several years in India. In 2010 he launched a social enterprise-incubator based out of Bangalore (India) focussing on seed investments and capacity building. Martin has a PhD in Business Ethics, Department of Economics from Katholische Universität Eichstätt in Germany.

Since 1997, he has had his own company rfu Business Consulting, Vienna, specialized in sustainable investment. Various teaching assignments and functions in Supervisory Boards, activities as an examiner and auditor as well as numerous publications.

Klaus Reisinger is a passionate climate protector, which is why he also studied technical
chemistry / process engineering and already devoted his dissertation to renewable energies.
From 2003 to 2015 he was managing director of ALLPLAN GmbH and during this time also
founded the company ClimatePartner Austria, where he is still active at times. In 2018 he
found his professional home as a partner of iC consulenten Ziviltechniker GesmbH. Klaus
Reisinger is there responsible for building technology and is highly intrinsic motivated about
planning climate-neutral properties.

Moreover, Klaus Reisinger is a visiting professor at Burgenland University since 2008 and
teaches the topic „climate protection“ there and in autumn 2018 he was appointed to the
board of IG Lebenszyklus Bau, where he is responsible for climate neutral real estate
buildings.

Andreas Knörzer is Managing Partner of Knörzer Consulting, adivising financial institutions with a focus on Sustainability / ESG. From 2016 to 2021 he held various senior positions with Vontobel Asset Management (the latest as Vice Chairman) always focussing on Sustainability. Between 2013 and 2015 he was member of the Executive Committee of Notenstein Privatbank (part of Raiffeisen Switzerland). He worked at Bank J. Safra Sarasin from 1989 to 2013 where held various executive positions. As a pionieer he founded the banks sustainable product offering and was influencial in bulding the banks positioning as a sustainable financial institution. Andreas Knörzer has a BA in Economics and is a Certified Banking Specialist. He is a member of the strategy group of EnergieSchweiz, a federal energy program and serves as Co-Chair of the working group Wealth & Asset Management of the trade association Swiss Sustainable Finance and is also sustainability expert in various working groups and advisory panels for various associations. Patrick Wirth blickt auf eine 20-jährige Karriere im Bereich der nachhaltigen Finanzen zurück und ist seit sieben Jahren stellvertretender Vorsitzender des FNG – Forum Nachhaltige Geldanlagen. Er setzt sich engagiert für die Integration von ESG in Asset Management Prozesse ein, um Unternehmensveränderungen und bessere Investitionen zu erreichen. Bei swissQuant ist er derzeit für verschiedene ESG-Entwicklungen und -Themen verantwortlich, darunter Strategien, Analysen und Reporting, um die Ausrichtung und Verankerung von ESG in den Lösungen von swissQuant für das Private Banking und Wealth Management Segment voranzutreiben. Vor seiner Tätigkeit bei swissQuant war Patrick als Senior Sustainability Specialist bei Swiss Life im Bereich Reporting und Kommunikation auf Gruppenebene tätig.
