Brigitte Posch is Partner, Credit and Head of Emerging Markets at Apollo. Prior to joining in 2018, Brigitte was Global Head of Emerging Markets Corporate Credit at Barings Asset Management, where she established its dedicated EM Corporate Credit funds and co-led the blended EM Debt Total Return strategy. Previously, she spent five years at PIMCO where she oversaw the strategies for EM Corporate Credit, Global Credit and Multi-Sector Fixed Income. Before PIMCO, Brigitte had senior roles at both Deutsche Bank and Moody’s with responsibility for structured credit and mortgage-backed securities in Latin America. She started her career in Brazil working as a Credit Analyst and origination.

Brigitte received a BA from Mackenzie University of Sao Paulo and enrolled in a graduate management program from Harvard University.

Mr. Sherman is the Chief Investment Officer and Lead Portfolio Manager of CrossingBridge Advisors, LLC. CrossingBridge specializes in corporate credit opportunities with a focus on high yield, stressed and distressed opportunities.

Mr. Sherman is a 35-year veteran in the high yield and opportunistic credit market. Mr. Sherman started his career in 1987 at Leucadia National Corporation. In 1992, Mr. Sherman became a Vice President actively involved in corporate investments and acquisitions. In addition, Mr. Sherman was Treasurer of Leucadia’s insurance operations with $3 billion of assets. During Mr. Sherman’s tenure, he played an active role in the insurance companies’ investment portfolio and asset/liability management. Further, his parent company investment duties ranged from general investment analysis to opportunistic distress positions including serving on steering and creditor committees to active roles of private and public securities transactions. Prior to starting at Leucadia, Mr. Sherman interned at Drexel Burnham Lambert’s High Yield and Convertible Bond department based in Los Angeles. In 1987, Mr. Sherman graduated from Washington University with a B.S. in business administration.

John Conner joined CrossingBridge in 2017 where he serves at the Director of Strategic Relationships. Mr. Conner has over 10 years of experience having worked at Collins Capital, Persimmon Capital Management, Fortigent, and SEI Investments. Mr. Conner holds a B.S. from Lehigh University.

René Wrenger, CAIA, CIIA, is a Principal Investment Consultant at Mercer. He is focused on the development of investment strategies, strategic asset allocation and manager selection mainly for financial institutions. Before René joined Mercer he worked as the Head of Treasury in a special credit institute, which was closely related to the catholic church, where he gained deep experiences in managing a multi-asset portfolio while considering strict ESG criteria. He is a Certified European Financial Analyst (CEFA), Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).

Jeffrey Dissmann, CFA is a Partner at Mercer, Head of Investments Germany and part of the Wealth Leadership Team. He is focused on advising multinational corporate clients in asset-liability-management issues and risk management as well as implementing investments. He holds a diploma in mathematics from the Technische Universität München and is a CFA charterholder.

Annette Bannister is a Managing Director and Head of EMEA Infrastructure and Project Finance for MetLife Investment Management and is responsible for the origination and execution of new transactions, as well as the ongoing management of existing investments. She joined MetLife in 2015. Annette has over 17 years of experience in advisory and investing in infrastructure debt. Prior to joining MetLife, Annette was at Legal and General Investment Management where she was also in the Infrastructure Investment team. Prior to this, she was an Associate Director at AMP Capital’s Infrastructure Debt Fund where she focused on originating and executing junior debt transactions in infrastructure. She also spent five years in investment banking (project and infrastructure finance) at Societe Generale and later, Barclays Capital. Annette is a graduate of the University of Durham where she earned a BA(Hons) in Business Finance and University of Durham Business School where she earned an MSc in Finance and Investment.

Jamie is a Director in the EMEA Infrastructure and Project Finance team for MetLife Investment Management and is responsible for the origination and execution of new transactions, as well as the ongoing management of existing investments. Jamie joined MetLife in 2020. Jamie has 11 years of experience in finance, with 10 years’ experience in lending, advisory and investing in the infrastructure sector. Prior to joining MetLife, Jamie spent 9 years at Scotiabank in their Infrastructure, Power and Utilities team, with time spent in Scotia’s London and Singapore offices. At Scotia, Jamie was responsible for the origination and execution of infrastructure transactions and relationship management, covering Europe and Australia. Jamie is a graduate of the University of St. Andrews where he earned a MA (Hons) in Management.

XAIA Investment is an independent asset manager with a focus on market-neutral investment strategies. Currently, a total volume of 1.25 billion euros is managed in mutual and special funds. The expertise is the management of funds that invest in strategies with efficient risk-return profiles – using investment and hedging instruments across asset classes. In this way, stable returns can be achieved that are attractively proportionate to the risks taken.

Philipp Graxenberger works in portfolio management at XAIA Investment. He is an expert in credit arbitrage, relative value and special situations. Previously, he worked as a portfolio manager at Assenagon. He studied Quantitative Finance & Risk Management at Bocconi University in Milan and gained initial experience in the capital markets business at Credit Suisse and BNP Paribas during his studies.
